Former Congressman Jon Porter (R-NV) offers nearly three decades as a public servant at the local, state and federal levels, including City Council Member and Mayor of Boulder City, Nevada, later as State Senator, and in the United States Congress for six years as a widely-respected moderate Republican member of the US House of Representatives. Jon served on the Committee on Ways & Means, the chief tax-writing committee in the House of Representatives, and a key Congressional committee on health care, insurance, tax and trade issues. He previously served on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and the Education and Labor Committee. Jon maintains strong ties to the House and Senate Republican and Democrat Leadership.

In addition to his client work which is focused on energy, transportation, education, gaming and travel and tourism matters, Jon is a frequent speaker to a variety of audiences ranging from associations and trade shows to state and national conventions where he is able to provide a unique insight to government policy at all levels, particularly as it relates to taxes, health care, transportation, renewable energy, insurance, education and gaming.
