Two days have gone by since the electon of St. Augustine Beach's First Woman Mayor. Still no word in the good-ole-boy St. Augustine Record.
Wonder why?
Even though it now has a woman publisher and woman editor now, the Record has not reported the news.
Why?
The Record covers little that happens in government meetings these days.
The Record has missed the key issue in the Michelle O'Connell case: Sexism, misogyny, St. Johns County and St. Johns County Sheriff's Department maladroit handling of the shooting death of the girlfriend of a Deputy Sheriff, in defiance of the laws of God and the laws of man, including the laws of the State of Florida and the Laws of Physics.
What do y'all reckon?
In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Be involved. Expect democracy. Report and expose corruption. Smile! Help enact a St. Augustine National Park and Seashore. We shall overcome!
