In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Justice Department Civil Rights Division Investigating Complaints Concerning St. Johns County, Florida Officials

At least one former Commissioner and I were contacted today concerning an investigation by the Justice Department Civil Rights Division concerning possible civil rights violations by St. Johns County officials. We shall overcome!
