The St. Augustine Record is too "special" to respond to citizens and/or customer requests for information.
You won't get an answer that is anything but a lie from The Record. That is simply the way they operate.
The paper is more a tourist entertainment sheet than it is a newspaper. NEWS? Only if it fits The Record's narrow view of what is "acceptable."
Michelle O'Connell? Biased reporting only. The paper does not wish to offend the Sheriff or his department.
Happily, there are powers greater than the impotent Morris Corp. and the print edition of The Record, the latter of which is not fit to wrap mullet.
It's the PEOPLE.
We don't NEED The Record. It is superfluous. Out of touch. St. Augustine deserves so much better.
