"A declining tax base and reduction of city services, unjustified and unexplained tax and fee hikes pushed again and again, no attempts to effectively address serious and worsening traffic congestion when alternatives are available, horrible and very costly business decisions like the city parking garage left completely ignored and unaddressed, constant attacks on major employers, loss of much needed private sector capital investment again and again which is essential to fund city services due to a climate of crony capitalism and overregulation, examples of endless expensive and losing litigation due to bad land use decisions, crumbling infrastructure, constant conflict and gratuitous bickering with city commissioners and city staff thwarting real progress on priority issues, a lack of even the most basic understanding of local government and important public policy issues, a glaring and persistent lack of professionalism in city government, and a catastrophic failure in emergency planning, preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation during our worst natural disaster in 5 decades resulting in unnecessary and preventable human suffering and greatly added expenses to families and taxpayers."

Flagler College has no tenure and no academic freedom, and its arachnid apparatchiks, including JOE SAVIAK are apparently backing an unqualified Hate Radio station owner in her attempt to unseat reform Mayor Nancy Shaver. Wonder why?
Flagler College Professor JOE SAVIAK a/k/a "JOE SIXPACK" is the unprincipled former Chief Deputy of the Orange County Sheriff's Department fired for sending threatening letters on Sheriff's letterhead, threatening dire consequences -- "civil and criminal liability" to the Florida Board of Bar Examiners and a Florida Supreme Court Justice because SAVIAK failed the Bar exam.
