Page one article in today's St. Augustine Record about the St. Johns County Administrator and Key International developer talking about a public-private partnership for building a new St. Augusine Beach Pier, which would combine a wider, longer pier, more fishing, restaurants, a farmer's market with fresh fish and craft stores, topped by a hotel built over the water, with partial federal funding as part of a St. Augustine National Historical Park and National Seashore.
