"NOPE": One word response from City of St. Augustine on restoring 60 removed chairs to Commission meeting room

City of St. Augustine City Manager WILLIAM BARRY HARRISS spent more than $3000 on eleven (11) expensive cushy chairs of overpaid all-white City director staff, adding tables and chairs at the back of the City Commission room to "require" removal of sixty (60) seats for the public under the Fire Code.
I issued an ultimatum to City Manager JOHN PATRICK REGAN, P.E. to remove the tables and restore the public's sixty (60) seats.
REGAN did not respond.
At the July 26, 2015 City Commission, there were dozens more people than would fit in the room.  REGAN made an announcement about it at the beginning of the meeting, urging patience.
I responded by asking, "may we have the 60 chairs back?"
REGAN did not respond, but Purchasing Director/Assistant General Services Director TIMOTHY FLEMING had a one-word response: "NOPE."
How flippant, disrespectful, rude, louche and gauche.
Several people testified July 26th to the refusal of REGAN to return calls and the disreputable and disrespectful behavior brandished by REGAN and other City directors.
REGAN, who promised at the end of the July 26, 2015 meeting to return my calls, has not called.
That was three (3) days ago.
In the immortal words of William F. Buckley, Jr., "Why does baloney reject the grinder?"
