KRIS PHILLIPS REFUSES TO ANSWER QUESTIONS IN OCTOBER 20 NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL DEBATE

Hate radio station WFOY owner KRIS PHILLIPS is so unscrupulous that she attended the mayoral debate dressed like she was gardening, eschewing questions she did not like or does not comprehend, saying that the St. Augustine Neighborhood Council should have come up with new ones because of Hurricane Matthew.

Yes. The Neighborhood Council asked sixteen (16) excellent questions, winnowing them down from more than 100 suggestions.  Hate radio station owner KRIS PHILLIPS disdained answering fair questions about City government and repeatedly said NHC should have asked different ones, because of the Hurricane.

What disrespectful arrogant insolence.  This is the toady for bullies like ex-Mayor JOE BOLES, disgraced former City Manager WILLIAM BARRY HARRISS, and other developer-driven energumen, would foist off on our Nation's Oldest City.

Oh, and, stop the presses and start the oppression, BOLES' toady KRIS PHILLIPS said announced that she was endorsed by rebarbative Sheriff DAVID BERNARD SHOAR f/k/a "HOAR," the dishonest lawman who helped cover up the Michelle O'Connell shooting in the home of Deputy JEREMY BANKS ever since September 2, 2010.  Payback for Mayor Shaver's letter about the O'Connell case, printed in The St. Augustine Record in 2013?

What do y'all reckon?
UPDATE:  Watch video here.

Are you impressed yet?
At tonight's candidates' forum put on by the Neighborhood Council, mayoral challenger Kris Phillips repeatedly refused to answer the question posed to her by the moderator and maintained that the effects of the hurricane were the only things worth talking about. At one point she implied it was inappropriate to answer a question about zoning because of the storm. Curious.
Yes, the hurricane devasted many folks and hit the city hard. We have a long road to full recovery ahead of us as a city. No arguing that. But, in a crisis do we want our leaders to stop governing?

UPDATE: Unadorned by any words, KRIS PHILLIPS touts her endorsement by Sheriff DAVID SHOAR, most noted for the coverup of the September 2, 2016 shooting of Michelle O'Connell in the home of Sheriff's Deputy JEREMY BANKS, with BANKS' service weapon:

I could not be more honored to announce Sheriff David Shoar's endorsement and full support of my candidacy.

  1. Do you happen to have a list of questions? I'm curious about what was asked and was hoping to find coverage online - so far I haven't found anything comprehensive.
