A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing?

The City of St. Augustine's defense lawyer in its never-ending effort to arrest artists and musicians entered his appearance in federal court on Friday. He is:
Michael H. Kahn
482 N. Harbor City Blvd.
Melbourne, FL 32935-6858
mhkahn@cfl.rr.com

Ironically, he chairs the First Amendment Law committee in the Florida Bar's Public Interest Law Section. That's like having Eichman's lawyer chair a committee on human rights law. It's great that the Florida Bar has a Public Interest Law Section. But is MICHAEL H. KAHN (a/k/a CONJOB) the most suited to chair it? How about someone who actually fights to protect the First Amendment (instead of someone who is habitually carpet-bombing the Constitution and the Bill of Rights)?

What do you reckon?

MICHAEL H. KAHN is also an approved Federal Court mediator. Oddly, he made hostile remarks before our City Commission against the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, in which he referred to California and "fruits and nuts." What an angry man.

MICHAEL H. KAHN is also a Republican Precinct Committeeman in Brevard County (no opposition for four-year term).

MICHAEL H. KAHN is listed by "Find A Republican Lawyer" http://www.rnla.org/bio/FindALawyer.asp?Alpha=&State=FL

MICHAEL H. KAHN donated $1000 to the Florida Republican Party on October 20, 2008. (Didn't help -- President Obama kicked their butts here in Florida).

MICHAEL H. KAHN will be hard-pressed to justify the City of St. Augustine's ordinance 22-6, which he wrote.

Come to think of it, doesn't MICHAEL H. KAHN (a/k/a CONJOB) have a conflict of interest defending an ordinance he wrote?

What do you reckon?
