Authoritarians today, like DJT, adhere to Russia. Here is Abraham Lincoln/s letter to Joshua Speed about the intolerant Know Nothing Party, the nattering nabobs of negativism of his time:

August 24, 1855: Letter to Joshua F. Speed The American or "Know Nothing Party" was an anti-immigrant political party of the 1850's. I am not a Know-Nothing. That is certain. How could I be? How can any one who abhors the oppression of negroes, be in favor of degrading classes of white people? Our progress in degeneracy appears to me to be pretty rapid. As a nation, we begin by declaring that "all men are created equal." We now practically read it "all men are created equal, except negroes." When the Know-Nothings get control, it will read "all men are created equal, except negroes, and foreigners, and catholics." When it comes to this I should prefer emigrating to some country where they make no pretence of loving liberty-to Russia, for instance, where despotism can be taken pure, and without the base alloy of hypocracy. |

The GOP is now a dangerous far right party. Needs to be declared a national security threat and eliminated. They do nothing for anyone who isn't rich yet stupid people are roped in by their propaganda. Also Florida is a right wing police state that reinforces lower class structure using the courts. In 20 years, they will be handing out 5 year sentences for DUI and giving the death penalty for drug dealers. Also shameless grifting and scams will be permitted as long as someone is GOP. Lest we forget Ashley Moody got conned by Trump's phoney stolen election claims all while she scaremongers with phoney claims of Fentanyl Halloween candy? This is what we should expect from "top cop?" Duping and being duped?
Ron DeSanctimonious should declare a "Victims of Trumpism" holiday instead of the "Victims of Communism" political stunt holiday. Victims like the Congress people who thought they were going to die, the police that got beat up, the girl that was killed, the thousand people arrested, and the general moral and intellectual decay that Orange Hitler brought to the nation. Not to mention all the people who got grifted to a husk by the man. He took millions from stupid people after he lost the election, and he knew damn well that he was politically impotent and radioactive waste. Also the Q-Anon cult that he encouraged seems hell bent on killing "Crazy Nancy." Notice that it's always someone else who is crazy and not Orange Hitler.
