Mayor BOLES and FPL: Let me call you sweetheart!

Ask Mayor JOSEPH LESTER BOLES, Jr. why our City of St. Augustine has a sweetheart relationship with large organizations like FPL, which he voted to grant a "nonnegotiable" 30 year franchise renewal without obtaining information and without considering alternatives -- our City has never audited FPL's franchise tax payments. Ever. Every time you pay your power bill, the City gets 6%. Millions of dollars. Never audited. Ever. The could mean waste, fraud, abuse, misfeasance, malfeasance, nonfeasance, waste, fraud and abuse, flummery, dupery and nincompoopery. Would you trust FPL without audits? As they say in East Tennessee, I would not trust FPL in an outhouse with a muzzle on. What do you reckon?
