Why Natural Park Service vision embraces a St. Augustine National Historical Park, Seashore and Scenic Coastal Parkway Act

The National Park Service’s vision now includes combining “natural and cultural resources, sometimes in several places, to tell a story.” See USA Today artilcle, below, noting the proposed “First State National Historical Park” in Delaware, and the Klondike Historical Park, with locations in both Alaska and Washington State.

The St. Augustine National Historical Park, National Seashore and Scenic Coastal Parkway Act provides for just such a park, combining “natural and cultural resources, sometimes in several places, to tell a story” – 11,000 years of human history and the natural beauty of St. Augustine, Florida.

What do you reckon?
