A St. Johns County Government award for a bigot? I plan to speak out against it on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 1:30 pm at the St. Johns County Planning and Zoning Agency, 500 Sebastian View, County Administration Building (a/k/a "Taj Mahal").
SJC PZA Vice Chair ROY ALAIMO, JR. is scheduled to receive a plaque in honor of his "service"from St. Johns County Planning and Zoning Agency.
- On April 28, 2021, ALAIMO sent Republicans an angry fund-raising letter complaining of Democrats "infiltrating" County Boards, calling on contribution to defeat every single living Democrat elected to nonpartisan County Boards.
- On June 14, 2021 ALAIMO printed a misleading hate letter to the editor of the St. Augustine Record, which insulted and attacked the proposed Gay Pride proclamation and the plaintiff in a federal lawsuit. ALAIMO and TAMARA RENUART invoked the St. Johns County Republican Executive Committee, of whch they are Chair and Vice Chair. The letter was not authorized by the Republican Party. (Prior REC Chair WILLIAM KORACH was fired by the Republican Partty of Florida for several offenders, including attacking the trans boy Drew Adams for suing St. Johns County Schools, in a discrimination case Mr. Adasms won at trial and on appeal. ). As the song says, "When will the ever learn?"

Ironically, the date of the plaque presentation is June 17, 2021, 49th Anniversary of Republicans' burglary of Democratic National HQ in th Watergate Break-in.
