"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” Thinking back on my speaking out against government retaliation against ethical employees, and on waste, fraud, abuse, misfeasance, malfeasance, nonfeasance, flummery, dupery and nincompoopery, I am reminded of this quote, sometimes attributed to Mahatma Gandhi and union leader Nicholas Klein.
