Speaking of greed.. thanks for voting down taxes in SJC Slavin. Because of the so called imperfections in government here in SJC, you let 10,000 rich hogs hoard even more of everyone's money. Are you working for the GOP? Is Ed Slavin the biggest conservative in St Johns County? Are you working with the Tea Party to feed the hogs? Yes you are.

JFK quoted Pope John XXIII in one of JFK;"s press conferences. JFK was asked how many people worked at the Vatican, and Pope John Paul XXIII thought and replied, "Oh, about half of them." Do you contend that we can't save money in our Florida and local government budgets?

Tell that to the teachers and cops when rent is $2,000 a month and other high prices because of the greed and gouging. I tell you who really doesn't care is the Ponte Vedra wine bibbers who have already come up on the backs of similar people and don't have problems when prices are high..and actually most likely they profit in such an environment. They can donate a little more. They're the ones out there spending it up NOT the one's who can't because of high prices. And they aren't the one's out there advocating for higher wages either. They're good to go and they don't care as long as they don't have to pay a bit more in taxes. They've got the same mentality as you do but they make a hell of a lot more money...and they got some of that from YOU in some way, shape, or form.. you better believe it.

JFK and the Vatican have nothing to do with the current situation economically or politically in SJC or anywhere else for that matter. What applies one day decade might not apply to to another in any given place .. and your example involves people (clergy) who rely on donations which are then supposed to be redistributed as services mainly. You've had a grudge against some people who work for the county so you'll punish them and reward rich Republicans in the county forever. And your characterization of lazy public service employees is false all while you advocate for a housing authority? So vote in line with big hog to roast little hog and wonder why the state went from purple to red. I'll tell you why it went red because of people with mad hatter political orientations such as yours. What do the tree killers and the tourists have in common? They tare through here and don't leave shit for anyone but other people with money. You can take a bow for serving their interests with your vote on taxes but not their politicians who will be elected anyway by the rich and stupid.
