Republicans are mostly crooks and they only dominate politics here in the state because of the stupidity of the religious whackos and other far right elements. That and Republicans protect greed and gouging.

Republicans in the court system, judges and state attorneys, give people consequences for exercising their right to trial in criminal matters. They hang the prospect of more time behind bars if you go to trial and lose and threaten to levy additional charges if you exercise your right to trial. Outside the courts they gerrymander, they guard ballot boxes, they file frivolous litigation to overturn elections. The list of un-American and malicious against our democracy is endless. This is an authoritarian gang of crooks parading as a political party.
