St. Johns County PRIDE Complaint No. 2502757 (April 13, 2025 Cultural Resources Review Board Meeting)

UPDATE, 1:51 AM, April 21, 2025:

Dismissed without investigation, without interview, without explanation, same day.   So before the sun even rose on April 18, 2025, NO RESPONSE YET, AFTER I wrote our SJC Commissioners and asked them to refer my complaint to the Florida Department of Administrative Hearings (DOAH) for a hearing before an independent Administrative Law Judge:

Re: Ed Slavin Request for DOAH hearing on my April 17. 2025 St. Johns County PRIDE complaint No. 2502757

To: St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners Chair Krista Joseph, Commissioners Murphy, Taylor, Whitehurst and Murphjy

Dear Chair Joseph and Commissioners:
1. On April 17, 2025, I filed a St. Johns County PRIDE complaint No, 25902757 (below).
2. On April 17, 2025, SJC BoCC refused to investigate,  No reason given.
3. This unconstitutional ukase violated my civil and constitutional rights, and those of everyone who was crammed into a tiny conference room at the St. Johns County Growth Management (sic) building on April 13, 2025, without video record, without live GTV coverage, and subjected to random, arbitrary and capricious imperious rules and rulings by CRRB.
4. I have lived In St. Johns County  since November 5, 1999 -- more than 25 years.  My April 17, 2025 PRIDE complaint was reasoned and documented.
5. First time I ever filed a PRIDE complaint with SJC BoCC
6. I am mystified by the disdainful, disrespectful  manner in which SJC BoCC employees, led by controversial Growth Management Division Director MICHAEL ROBERSON and his insensitive and inconsiderate staff mistreated citizen concerns at CRRB and the Magic Beach Motel. Dismissal of the PRIDE complaint without investigation compounded the violation of my First and Ninth Amendment rights, and my rights under Florida Constitution, Article i, Section 24, F.S. 119 and F.S. 286.
7. Please refer my April 17, 2025 PRIDE complaint (below), No. 2502757, to our Florida Department of Administrative Hearings (DOAH) for an onsite, videotaped, on-the-record administrative hearing before an independent Administrative Law Judge.
8. The facts are undisputed and irrefragable.
9. Please feel free to call me to discuss.

Re: My April 17, 2025 PRIDE complaint

PRIDE stands for  "Public Request Inquiry Data Exchange."  I've lived here in St. Johns County ("God's country"( for more than 25 years, since November 5, 1999. I've never filed a St. Johns County PRIDE complaint, until today.  I filed this PRIDE complaint the morning of April 17, 2025 after the April 13, 2025 Cultural Resources Review Board meeting on the speculator's application to demolish the Magic Beach Motel in Vilano Beach:

Cultural Resources Review Board meeting on April 10, 2025.  Violation of Americans with Disabilities Act, violation of Florida State 286, Violation of Article I, Section 24 of Florida Constitution.
1.  Holding Cultural Resources Review Board meeting in a small conference room at Growth Management (sic) Division, not at County Auditorium, as discussed and requested for years.
2.  People showed up at County Auditorium and were not told where the meeting was locat3ed.
3.  Refusing to provide a podium for public comment speakers.
4.  Demeaning treatment of attendees.
5.  Demanding that speakers stand to speak without a podium.
6.  Demanding that attendees wait in a lobby until 1:30 (we were finally allowed in at 1 after I complained to three Commisisoners.
7.  Failing to provide competent legal advice, with Assistant County Attorney KEELEY WEST failing to speak up in. support of our rights.
8.  Failing to video-tape CRRB meetings
9.  Failing to broadcast meetting live or on tape on GtV.
10. Subjecting citizens to a hostile working environment.
11. Making irrational excuse for failure to provide a podium.
12. Threatening me with Sheriff's deputies when I tried to enter room before 1:30
13.  Staff pointing me out to Sheriff or security in retaliation for First Amendment protected activity
14.  Wasting tax money on STAFF ONLY signs on three (3) doors in the meeting room, when it is used for CRRB meetings.
15. Please provide proper training for staff, CRRB Chair and members on reasonable expectations of probity and of of courtesy toward citizens engaged in protected activity under First and Ninth Amendments and Fllorida Constitution Article I, Section 24, F.S. 119 and F.S. 286 and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
16. Please hold all future CRRB meetings in County Auditorium.

God's country? Sounds like you're labeling SJC as filled with supernatural delusions. That's not bigotry unless you provide actual proof and evidence for the supernatural. Until then, it's delusion and dishonesty.
