SUNSHINE MISDEMEANORS AND ELDER ABUSE BY SEVERAL CITY COMMISSIONERS, June 14, 2016?

If you're driving down the road an you see a turtle sitting on a fence post, you know it did not get there by itself and that somebody put it there.
The June 14, 2016 St. Augustine Beach City Commission meeting began with a lovely proclamation of diversity and an ugly outburst of intolerance by several Commissioners, falsely accusing an octogenarian of anti-Semitism.
At the June 1, 2016 City Commission meeting, Mr. Robert Kahler, 87, said attending interminable long meetings hurt his "tushy," identifying "tushy" as a "Jewish word," thereby injecting levity and consciously avoiding the use of the more vulgar word "ass" on streaming video and cable television.
Does the use of the word "tushy" sound anti-Semitic to you?
Acting in parallel, like they were prepared and coached by Robert Samuels, several City Commissioners pointed the bony finger of indignation and acted with hauteur and hatred, trying to chill, coerce and intimidate First and Ninth Amendment protected activity.
Is their silly disgraceful behavior a Sunshine violation?
How low can they go?
I filed a complaint with SABPD the next day, June 15, 2016.
But SABPD Chief Robert Hardwick is on his annual National Guard summer camp in North Carolina until Monday, June 20th.
And SABPD Commander James Parker claims he has not had time to read my e-mail yet, then said it probably wasn't a Sunshine violation, then said he would refer it to State's Attorney RALPH JOSEPH LARIZZA's office.
Mayor RICHARD O'BRIEN called Mr. Kahler earlier today, apparently trying to make amends.

The thick plottens, or the plot thickens.

Subject: SUNSHINE MISDEMEANORS AND ELDER ABUSE BY SEVERAL CITY COMMISSIONERS, June [14], 2016?

Dear Chief Hardwick and Commander Parker:
1. Several St. Augustine Beach Commissioners, in their meeting last night, were errantly speaking about a nonexistent "anti-Semitic remark" at the June 1, 2016 meeting. How odd.
2. It was a blatant attempt to coerce, restrain and intimidate First and Ninth Amendment protected activity by Mr. Robert Kahler, whose innocent remark -- about long meetings hurting his "tushy," which he referred to as a "Jewish word," -- was not anti-Semitic, but a tactful, light-hearted, humorous effort to avoid saying the word "ass" on television and live streaming video. Here is the definition of "tushy":

tushy
Also found in: Thesaurus, Medical, Idioms.
tush·y also tush·ie (to͝osh′ē)
n. pl. tush·ies Slang
The buttocks.

3. There was, however, on June 1, 2016 a faux angry untoward, pestiferous outburst by Mr. Robert Samuels, spouse of Commissioner Andrea Samuels in response to Mr. Kahler's statement. I reported what really happened here: http://cleanupcityofstaugustine.blogspot.com/2016/06/heckling-by-commissioner-samuels-spouse.html The facts are irrefragable, as the videotape will confirm.
4. Instead of telling Mr. Robert Samuels to stop heckling dissenting speakers (like Mr. Kahler, et al.), several Commissioners last night falsely attacked Mr. Kahler -- defamation without using his name. This is elder abuse -- Mr. Kahler is an octogenarian -- and a First and Ninth Amendment violation. See 42 U.S.C. 1983
5. "No documents," the City asserts?
6. If "no documents," how did several Commissioners come to the extravagant agreement that Mr. Kahler's innocent "tushy" remark was anti-Semitic?
7. What errant nonsense.
8. In antitrust law, you'd call it "conscious parallelism." The odd allegations smack of collusion, possibly using someone like Mr. Robert Samuels as a conduit.
9. Were several Commissioners' odd, cowardly, seemingly coordinated attacks on Mr. Robert Kahler last night a Sunshine violation?
10. Please investigate possible Sunshine violation crimes and kindly have SABPD officers interview Commissioners simultaneously.
Thank you.
With kindest regards, I am,
Sincerely yours,
Ed Slavin
