Mayor Boles:
I don't think there's a chance-in-hell that you or the City Commission will ever be "crippled by compassion."
I also don't think you even know what the word COMPASSION means -- as it relates to the homeless or anyone else that's not either rich or privileged in this town that you preside over!
Your pushing of the public comments section -- previously held near the start of City Commission meetings to accommodate the public and Free Speech -- to the very end of City Commission Meetings is a slap-in-the-face to participatory Democracy, also.
I will be at the next City Commission meeting, along with others, to tell you that to your face! We hope we will, at least, have your undivided attention for once.

In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Be involved. Expect democracy. Report and expose corruption. Smile! Help enact a St. Augustine National Park and Seashore. We shall overcome!
