ST. AUGUSTINE, FL -- A small protest over the election of Barack Obama took place in downtown St. Augustine Tuesday.
As hundreds gathered in the city plaza to watch the inauguration ceremony on big screen televisions, two people held signs displaying their feelings for President Obama.
One sign read "No true Christian would support Obama." One man held a mannequin with an Obama mask. It had the words "sodomy" and "abortion" written on its shirt.
The protestors told First Coast News they did not support President Obama's stance on abortion and gay marriage.
They said they protested against President Bill Clinton as well.
