Mosquito Control Hiring of Lobbyist Is Troubling

In light of the new Florida law aimed at preventing governments from influencing voters, it is very troubling that the Anastasia Mosquito Control District of St. Johns County has voted 3-2 for a no-bid contract with a firm of arch-Republican lobbyists whose job may include influencing voters on a possible referendum next year.
