Dear Pope Francis, please do come speak here in St. Augustine on the occasion of our 450th anniversary. We need you to hold an exorcism, de facto or de jure, for businessmen and politicians who are rapidly ruining St. Augustine and St. Johns County, destroying our history, nature and culture. We need to enact the St. Augustine National Historical Park and National Seashore, now, to keep our birthright here from becoming, in Pope Francis' words, "an immense pile of filth."
