More proof in the form of PR puffery.  "More than 20 newspapers" in Florida?  How many, exactly>?  Sloppy reporting. Gannett announces sales lead for company's Florida markets

Gannett announced the hiring of Jim Fogler to head sales for the company's Florida region, where it operates more than 20 newspapers.

Fogler most recently held the position of president and chief executive at the Florida Press Association. He had served as the president and regional sales director for his hometown newspaper the Poughkeepsie Journal in New York from 2016 to 2020. He also led the largest newspaper in Vermont, the Burlington Free Press, from 2010 to 2014.

His role with Gannett will be vice president of sales for the Florida region with LocaliQ, the digital solutions and marketing arm for the Tysons, Virginia-headquartered company. All sales regions in Florida will be united under Fogler's leadership.

He will report directly to Allen Jones, president of local sales at LocaliQ.

"I couldn’t be more excited to have Jim leading the team."
