No-bid contracts must be extirpated, from St. Johns County and its local governments, to Tallahassee to Washington, D.C. They are a stench in the nostrils of our Nation and a betrayal of our Founding Fathers vision. I first encountered no-bid contracts in investigating the corrupt Anderson County School board and Tennessee Valley Authority in Tennessee, 1981-1983. My shaping impressions were of corrupt TVA officials doling out $300,000,000 worth of no-bid coal contracts to the buddies of then=Senator Howard Henry Baker, Jr., whose Brimstone estate was blessed with low-quality coal whom corrupt TVA purchasing officials purchased for Kington, Tennessee power plant. The right wing loves making a spectacle out of taking people's rights and freedoms away. They do it in every branch of government. All that as a diversion from them simply existing politically to facilitate upwards transfer of wealth.
Maxwell Frost recently visited this concentration camp and remarked how draconian that conditions were there... like yeah.. that's how conservatives have kept people for decades in Florida. Have a look at the dilapidated penitentiary system.
