On April 15, 2025, Commissioners voted 3-2 to hire a conflicted connected corporate law firm as County Attorney.
On May 18, 2025 Commissioners voted 3-2 to send several of Chair Joseph's ideas on tree protection to a consultant.
Thirteen days later, on May 31, 2025, the County Sheriff's Office reports, a man "posted a threatening image on the Blue Sky Social media account 'Atheist Pizza.' The image depicted current County Commissioners Ann Taylor and Krista Joseph. The image posted depicted a sword going through Commissioner Ann Taylor’s head and an axe going through Commissioner Krista Joseph’s head, with the wording, 'Totally torched by the pro komando mob, totally epic defeat.' The image also shows blood coming down the commissioner's head, eyes, and mouth. There were also threats to 'commit bodily harm. to another person, both of hom are public servants.'"
Who does that? Who empowered and inspired them? What did County Attorney Richard Christian Mr. Komando know, and when did he know it? Cui bono? Who benefits from such threats?
You tell me.
On October 9, 2025, the Sheriff's office arrested a suspect, charging him with two felonies -- corruption by threat of harm against a public servant and tampering with evidence. The case is pending in Circuit Court,
The suspect is a convicted felon, previously spent three years in prison for shooting a gun into an automobile, risking the lives of the driver and a seven year old little girl. Circuit Court records state that the man met with then Sheriff David Shoar, two then-Commissioners and with another man who was later a Commissioner.
What's going on here? You tell me.
