A precautionary boil water notice was issued for the Marsh Landing subdivision in Ponte Vedra Beach after the St. Johns County Utility Department reported a water main break impacting an estimated 200 homes.
The precautionary boil water notice is in effect until a retraction notice is posted, at least two days.
Under the notice, all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes should be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. Bottled water may be used as an alternative.
The streets impacted in Marsh Landing include, but are not limited to, Marsh Landing Parkway, Linkside Drive, Bridal Way, Troon Court, Turnberry Point Way and Alice Way.
Citizens may call 209-2745 for information.
