St. Johns County schoolmarms, are you smarter than a third grader?

Some abominable school administrators in our county got a cartoonist fired from the St. Augustine Record (Ed Hall). See below. Then they required third graders to sing a religious propaganda song as a condition of participating in graduation.

Are these school administrators as amart as a third grader? Most third graders have compassion and ethics, with or without religious or school teaching on the subject. To require school children to sing an overtly propagandistic religious song as a condition of graduation is beneath contempt.

Are these schoolmarms card-carrying members of what President Josiah Bartlett (fictional president on The West Wing) called the "Ignorant Tightass Society" (in publicly dressing down a radio broadcaster based on "Dr. Laura").

To teach or be a school administrator in public schools, one is required to be learned in the laws affecting schools, including the First Amendment. It was in defiance of that teaching and those laws that an ignorant principal and teachers, led by an incompetent school administration bloated with inefficiency and waste, cruelly mandated cramdown participation in right-wing religious propaganda.

Our School Superintendent, administrators and School Board flunked the laugh test.

Our School Board lawyers wasted a federal court's time by refusing to stipulate to an injunction, after the School Board said it wouldn't require the song be sung. They filed untimely affidavits.

They are an embarrassment to every citizen in St. Johns County.

Maybe it's time that Democrats (and other good and decent people) run for School Board and against intolerance. No more sock puppets for the KKK.

What do you reckon?
