Tourism Answer: We Need A St. Augustine National Historical Park, National Seashore and Scenic Coastal Parkway

The tourism report (see below) was rightly criticized by Commissioners Ronald Sanchez and J. Kenneth Bryan, among others.

The answer to the huge decrease in tourism and the tourism "branding" question is the St. Augustine National Historical Park, National Seashore and Scenic Coastal Parkway Act of 2009 (see links to StAugustgreen.com). National parks are "the best idea ever" as Ken Burns puts it in his new documentary.

The national park, seashore and coastal parkway will preserve our way of life, protect wildlife and water resources, increase heritage and environmental tourism and preserve St. Augustine and St. Johns County from narcissistic "developers" who know not that they know not that they know not.

Who among us could disagree?

What do y'all reckon?
