Conflict of interest: MICHAEL GOLD on Sheriff's payroll while selling uniforms to Sheriff

Uniform salesman, private investigator, criminal analyst and hate website operator MICHAEL GOLD f/k/a "MICHAEL TOBIN" and SHERIFF DAVID SHOAR f/k/a "DAVID HOAR" at GOLD's Flagler College graduation in 2008.

During Fiscal Year 2005, MICHAEL GOLD f/k/a "MICHAEL TOBIN" was a very busy boy.

GOLD's uniform company, JR UNIFORM COMPANY, gobbled up $54,733.48 in no-bid contracts from the Sheriff. In addition, the Sheriff's Chief Financial Officer reports: "Mr. Gold was employed at the 'High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area' (HIDTA) in Jacksonville Florida from 1/24/2005 through 10/30/2005, and his annual salary was $36,750.06 to work as a criminal analyst. (He did not make that much because he did not work a full year). The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office administers this program through a federal grant so his salary 'passed through' our agency."

The next year, MICHAEL GOLD published an OpEd article in the St. Augustine Record on December 23, 2006, announcing the founding of the first of his local hate websites, for the express purpose of running homeless people out of St. Augustine.

As Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. would say, "busy, busy, busy."
