Our St. Johns County Commission voted 3-2 to hire the secretive corporate law firm of the Florida House Speaker-designate, current Rules and Ethics Chair, to be our County Attorney in the fastest-growing County in Florida! SAMUEL PAUL GARRISON is the House Speaker-designate. GARRISON's law partner, RICHARD CHRISTIAN KOMANDO, was awarded the temporary "interim" County Attorney position in 2024 on recommendation of his "friend," Mr. ROY ALYRE ALAIMO, Jr., then a St. Johns County Commissioner (who was appointed by Governor DeSantis to the vacant seat created by the COVID death of Commissioner Paul Waldron) Governor DeSantis was our former Congressman from St. Johns County. (ROY ALAIMO was defeated in the closed Republican primary for re-election by a former highway patrolman, Clay Murphy. I filed a HUD Title VI civil rights complaint on February 29, 2024 after Commissioners voted to appoint KOMANDO as Interim County Attorney. No other candidates were considered. No background investigation. No conflicts check. No compliance with EEO laws. KOMANDO said he would not seek the permanent job. KOMANDO and his law partners sought it and got the gig anyway.
All that remains is negotiation of a contract.

If the county is controlled by speculators, then that's on the commission and the process by which they are appointed... whether democratic or not.. because the fact is they vote on matters that effect development... and their constituents agree or they wouldn't be in those positions. Unless of course you're gonna argue that people are voting for other people to do the exact opposite of what they desire. So the county attorney looks to be a convient scapegoat for you but he isn't tasked with approving or disapproving development.
What agreements, understandings, contracts or relationships does sock puppet "Pete" have with RICHARD CHRISTIAN KOMANDO, SAMUEL PAUL GARRISON, their law firm (BGK) and ENGLAND THIMMS & MILLER (ETM)? Who is "Pete" and why does he perseverate so pestiferously? What has "Pete" ever done to help an other living breathing human being? Who is "Pete?" Speak.

Note the arrogant affectations of martyrdom. "Pete" won't identify himself but seems to identify with the ancien regime and its subtle corruption of our government here. What names? What chutzpa! Why would SJC want to hire a corporate law firm as County Attorney? We need a living breathing person as County Attorney. Enough flummery.
The job postings was for a County Attorney, not a law firm.
The narrative that some lawfirm was appointed is something you made up. Just another claim without actual proof and evidence attached, yet that's all you do is email people all day long trying to obtain proof and evidence for your conspiracy theories. Newsflash: There is none!
Who is "Pete" and what is his expertise about these matters? Pestiferous "Pete" refuses to identify himself. Why? I sign my posts. "Pete" seems ashamed of himself, and posts as a sock puppet for the ancien regime in SJC. What is the interest of "Pete" in whether or not a particular law firm gets hired as County Attorney? How many times has "Pete" posted on this blog? Apparently never before, until the KOMANDO contract became an issue for people who want to protect our County, its nature and history.
You can represent a cause, but that doesn't justify making speculative claims and pushing them to people as fact. That undermines your cause and credibility with rational people.. which explains why so many don't call out the conspiracy theories. Because they engage in them with you over the cause! Shame on you people!
