And if it turns out to be Richard Komando, despite the fact that everyone turned in all their paperwork and were qualified, what can we expect to see here on the blog? I can't wait.

What agreements, contracts, understandings and relationships exist between "Pete" and RICHARD CHRISTIAN KOMANDO? What is your interest? Why are you so unhappy. "Pete" started posting on this blog on this subject. Perseverating plant "Pete" is no random poster. Look at the temporal nexus.

None. I don't know the guy at all. I just perceive you have a problem with him over something trivial and most likely something you dreamed up now trying to sell as reality.

Hiring a County Attorney who did not even have to apply for the job? Are you serious?

Pete said...

They don't have to adhere to whatever your standards are really. If you wanted to set those standards, you should have gotten into office here. You could have done that but most likely you present too much opposition to just about everything. You can't do that and obtain a position of influence. You can do it once you do, but even then not all day every day. Most likely you couldn't control yourself for even a couple days or even hours.

DJT speaks his mind and he got elected. Twice. My religious tradition teaches, "Be not afraid." It's in the Bible some 106 times.

America abolished the spoils system. It's why County Attorneys must apply for their jobs. RICHARD CHRISTIAN KOMANDO was given the job without a job posting, without an interview, without a conflicts check, without a background investigation. SJC does not hire workers without a background investigation, except the job of County Attorney, where DeSANTIS-appointed apparatchik ROY ALYRE ALAIMO, JR. lobbied fellow Commissioners to hire his "friend." That's not the America we love. That's developer-driven political patronage for one of the two most important jobs in the SJC Administration building,

Hiring of RICHARD CHRISTIAN KOMANDO exemplifies the spoil system. See Martin & Susan Tolchin, To the Victor: Political Patronage from the Clubhouse to the White House (Random House, 1971. Learn something about the context of ions SJC's spoils system hiring practices. In their book, reporters Martin and Susan Tolchin wrote about corrupt NYC Democratic machine politics, where a $50k contribution to the Democratic political machine would secure a trial court judgeship.

Well Ed stopped posting my responses so we are only left redundant monologues un rebutted... and of course the claims remain but the actual proof and evidence wasn't forthcoming. It's a good thing the jury in this case was a bunch of drunks who can't understand that proof and evidence matters. Basically people too mentally incompetent to sit on a jury.

"Pete" mistakes kindness for weakness. Go get your own blog, pal. Your sense of entitlement suggests that you were "born with a silver spoon in your mouth," as Governor Ann Richards said about President George Herbert Walker Bush. Your ad hominem attack on our St. Johns County Commissions shows that, in your heart, you believe that the "case" for political patronage hiring of RICHARD CHRISTIAN KOMANDO is lacking proof or evidence. Never again should SJC hire someone for that job without advertising, interviews, background investigation or conflicts check. This is not Russia.

Born with a silver foot in his mouth, perseverating "Pete" wrote: "It's a good thing the jury in this case was a bunch of drunks who can't understand that proof and evidence matters. Basically people too mentally incompetent to sit on a jury." "Pete" lacks self-respect. He lacks respect for democracy. He insults our County Commissioners. Pray for "Pete" to try tolerance and find peace,.
