The Florida Clerks of Court Operations Corporation hired former state senator Rob Bradley as its general counsel during its executive council meeting February 21 in Daytona Beach.

A Clay County native, Bradley, who served in the Florida Senate from 2012-2020, has a deep understanding of budgeting and the judicial system with a strong background in government.

“I’m really excited about this opportunity, and I think it’s a perfect fit,” Bradley said.

The CCOC formed a general counsel work group back in December when previous counsel Rob Boyd announced he would step down from his post. The work group met on February 6 to recommend Bradley for the role.

A longstanding member of The Florida Bar, Bradley will keep his position as managing partner of Bradley, Garrison & Komando, P.A., and perform his duties as general counsel for the CCOC on an as-needed basis.

“The idea of me being integrated into the organization on an as-needed ad-hoc basis I think that is certainly the way I’ve worked with all of my government clients, so I feel it’s a natural extension of how I do business,” Bradley said. “I think the clients that I’ve worked with have found real value with that.”

During his time in the Legislature, Bradley worked with many in the judicial system. He’s received accolades from prosecutors, sheriffs, police chiefs, public defenders, as well as the Conference of County Court Judges. In 2013, Bradley was named the Florida Clerks and Comptrollers Legislator of the Year.

Bradley’s experience working with local government is also extensive. On top of serving as a Clay County commissioner prior to his stint in the Legislature, Bradley served as general counsel for the Council on Aging, the general counsel to the Town of Orange Park, the City of Keystone Heights, The Crossings Community Development District (Eagle Harbor), the City of Atlantic Beach and Baker County.

The CCOC executive council approved Bradley’s hire unanimously.

“I think I speak for everyone on the council that with your reputation and your accomplishments that we’re fortunate and glad to have you as our general counsel,” said Indian River Clerk and executive council Chair Jeffery Smith.

Again, someone who has some measure of success and practices law has been chosen to represent SJC. The sky is blue, water is wet, and fire is hot. Just thought I'd come here and say something just to say it today. Also, it rained a little today.

I've never met the guy or spoken to him. I come here to ask questions and for elaboration of certain claims... preferably proof and evidence for those claims be given. It's hard.. hard to get proof and evidence for some of the claims being made here.

Who is "Pete?" Always arrogantly defending unctuous corporations, their louche lawyers and their control of our local SJC government. Emitting non sequiturs. Pompous. Pouty. Using other sock puppet names to post vicious violent bloody images of four wonderful women who hold corporations accountable (two Commissioners and two activists). Coward won't identify himself,.

$UCCE$$? Or wretched EXCE$$? Ex-Senator ROBERT MILNER BRADLEY, JR. is cashing in on his former office, now occupied by his wife. Representing FOUNTAINEBLEAU DEVELOPMENT as lobbyist (OAK STRATEGIES). RICHARD CHRISTIAN KOMANDO told County Commissioners that he (KOMANDO) has never represented a developer. KOMANDO's bumptious bald assertion ignored the representation of developers by his law partner. His other law partner is the Florida House Rules and Ethics Committee Chair, the next Florida House Speaker, SAMUEL PAUL GARRISON. The owners and controllers must think we're all stupid.

I haven't defended a corporation and have nothing to do with pictures. You've expressed your dislike for a certain business and group of individuals, made claims, and I've asked questions. That's not me promoting a business.

He can represent who he wants to in a court of law. You holding that up as a disqualification and framing his representation of clients as something problematic is YOUR narrative and YOUR problem. He hasn't done anything wrong until you provide actual proof and evidence that's the case. Otherwise libel!!!

Read New York Times v. Sullivan?

Not "libel."

"Pete" has repeatedly expressed the desire for other people to abuse libel laws to sue me, or to criminalize First Amendment protected activity. Won't give his name. Wonder why?

SJRWMD Chair ROBERT MILNER BRADLEY, JR. is a public figure. He is the lead partner in BRADLEY, GARRISON & KOMANDO, P.A., which St. Johns County hired as County Attorney without a background investigation at their April 15, 2025 meeting. Who is "Pete" and what is the nature of his relationship with BGK partners?

Pete said...

You're insinuating that something unethical is happening and they've done nothing. How is that not libel? How is is not libel when you make claims and fail to produce actual proof and evidence and a business entity is involved?

Raining mendacity? Has there ever come a time when ALAIMO's "friend," St. Johns County political patronage hire, County Attorney RICHARD CHRISTIAN KOMANDO helped "Pete" with his career? How? Which case(s)? Are the hundreds of "Pete" posts an example of quid pro quo? You tell me? Are "Pete" and KOMANDO more than just "friends?" Who is "Pete?"

The guy is known to be reputable by a lot of people. There's your background investigation. At any rate, up to the commissioners to do their homework, they did it, they voted, it's over with. You don't like democracy then move to Iran.

People have relationships. That means nothing. People, including voters, don't put people into positions that they aren't familiar with or don't like. You got proof or evidence of ethics or law violations? No, you don't, or you'd be presenting the proof
