Clean Up City of St. Augustine, Florida

In secret, behind locked gates, the managers of the Nation's oldest (European-founded) City illegally dumped 40,000 cubic yards of contaminants in the Old City Reservoir, where people fished and swam for generations. St. Augustine's pollution symbolizes our City's putative leaders' lack of trust in the public's right to know. This is advanced citizenship. Please share your questions and whistleblower disclosures about City government. Then let's demand answers. Expect democracy.

Food for thought

Are there two competing political machines, two elites in St. Johns County?

Is one trying to prosecute the other one for threatening its suzerainty?

Is Sheriff Shoar doing the bidding of ex-Sheriff Neal Perry, who accused Tom Manuel of having mafia ties before the 2006 election?

Is former County Commission Chair JIM BRYANT really retiring due to family reasons?
Or is it another "retirement" like that of ex-Sheriff Neal Perry (one to avoid indictment)?

Will the new Attorney General still make the same kind of deal?
