Record continues anonymous comments

Rather than requiring newspaper website commenters to give their names, The St. Augustine Record continues venerating the "Anonymice," anonymous commenters, some with "brain boogers" and many axes to grind.  They include present and former government officials and lobbyists and spouses.

The "Anonymous" include opinionated uninformed persons such as the ones ululating against the St. Augustine Beach City Commission's rejection last night of a cellular telephone tower in a 6.1 acre park located on a dune -- pristine wildlife habit that we treasure and saved from prior development proposals (a shopping center).

Those Philistine "Anonymice" evidently did not watch the October 5, 2015 meeting of the St. Augustine Beach Commission meeting, and they had only tepid Record coverage upon which to base their erroneous conclusions.   They may have never seen the park, or understand that the speculator-developer did not show and should never have been on the agenda in the first place, had no RF study and no environmental study.  The notion of sticking a 150 foot tall cellular telephone tower in the midst of a small 6.1 acre park is deeply offensive, and rightly and roundly rejected, unanimously by St. Augustine Beach Mayor Andrea Samuels, Vice Mayor Richard O'Brien, and Commissioners Sherman Gary Snodgrass, Undine Pawlowski George and Margaret England.

The "Anonymice" are a symptom of low-information voters.  Forgive them, but blame the Record for its shallow, shoddy coverage of anything concerning "development."

Do they need someone to sign a sworn written criminal complaint out ?
