4-2 Vote: Beach's Then-Mayor RICH O'BRIEN Did NOT "Corruptly" Abuse City Seal to Support No-Bid Contract For SABCA

Under crabbed reading of Florida's loophole-filled "ethics" (sic) laws, our toothless Florida Ethics Commission 4-2 vote found "no corrupt intent." Four of the Board members accepted conflicted MARKS GEAY corporate law firm's hollow arguments about O'BRIEN sending unauthorized letter missing City seal and City letterhead in violation of City Charter, supporting Civic Association's demand to continue longstanding 20 year no-bid Farmer's Market contract. ( SABCA ultimately lost the contract).

What do you reckon.? Do you agree with the Ethics Commission Advocate that longtime SAB Commissioner RICHAD BURTT O'BRIEN acted corruptly and should be proceed for it?
