City Attorney "DIZZY IZZY" LOPEZ writes crappy government contracts that give away the store, erasing the City's constitutional right to jury trial, without explanation, while not modifying them when the point of contract retires.
St. Augustine City Hall is STILL loose-as-a-goose with contracting, and wanted to charge ME money to find all of the contracts listing a retired Public Works Director as point of contact. In fact, the standard of care required that the PoC be changed six (6) months ago, but LOPEZ is maladroit.
No response from estimable St. Augustine City Attorney ISABELLE CHRISTINE LOPEZ to my e-mail (below).

Subject: Malarkey, Sloth and Torpor: Re: Request No. 2018-413: Retired Public Works Director Martha Graham still listed as PoC on City contracts
Dear Ms. Lopez:
1. Whatever possessed the St. Augustine City Attorney to have a named natural, living breathing person (Ms. Martha Graham, P.E.) as the City Point of Contact on dozens of contracts (rather than just the title "Public Works Director?)"
1. Whatever possessed the St. Augustine City Attorney to have a named natural, living breathing person (Ms. Martha Graham, P.E.) as the City Point of Contact on dozens of contracts (rather than just the title "Public Works Director?)"
2. Ms. Graham retired some six (6) months ago. So why didn't the City Attorney already amend existing contracts with Ms. Graham's name?
3. Please change the PoC in all ongoing City contracts.
4. Please send me your City Attorney contract procedure manual.
5. You demand to charge me $38.24 to do what your office should have done some six (6) months ago -- learning which contract had Ms. Graham's name in it and correcting them all.
6. What malarkey, sloth and torpor.
Thank you.
With kindest regards, I am,

It is estimated to require approximately 2 hours to research, locate and provide the documents responsive to this request. At an hourly rate of $19.12, the charge would be $38.24, payable in full prior to commencing the work.
Please advise of how you wish to proceed.
