By order of October 22, 2018, Deltra Long's federal criminal trial has been postponed one month, to the December 3, 2018 trial term in U.S. District Court in Jacksonville.
A beloved civil rights activist, Ms. Long is former chair of the St. Augustine Planning and Zoning Board and a 2012 candidate for City Commissioner. Ms. Long is represented by former Bar President Henry M. Coxe, III.
