WILLIAM MARK KORACH, II, R.I.P., Fired St. Johns County Republican Chair, Opposed Transgender Student Rights Ultra Vires

Funeral today for controversial fired former St. Johns County Republican Executive Committee WILLIAM KORACH drew few mourners.  No elected officials attended, not even HUNTER CONRAD, whom KORACH helped elect Clerk of Courts.  The funeral was in Turning Point Church, where CONRAD's father is pastor.

State GOP chairman Blaise Ingoglia removed WILLIAM KORACH from his County Chairman post on May 29 on the recommendation of a party grievance committee.

The grievance committee was convened after three local party members and a state committeewoman filed a nine-part grievance against him that alleges, among other things, public drunkenness, “improper acts towards females” to include “even touching improperly,” promoting personal opinions on party letterhead, failing to file accounting records,, conducting a business meeting without a quorum and improperly electing new members to the committee.

But WILLIAM KORACH is most noted for his savage attack on Drew Adams, a 17 year old transgender male student whom KORACH pressured the School Board to resist and discriminate against.

The Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) contends that it based its firing decisions on overt acts by KORACH, and one of them was his unauthorized fatwa in the federal court civil rights case of Adams v. St. Johns County School Board. Korach's  vile public act of transphobia was too much, even for RPOF.  His unauthorized ultra vires act helped sustain and nurture St. Johns County School Board's chauvinistic position and the federal court's Adams verdict against the County, now on appeal.

In his second Circuit Court lawsuit, advanced by the lawyers of Coquina Law Group, KORACH contends that he suffered damages from alleged defamation and conspiracy, resulting in damage to his alleged good name and reputation and in alleged "mental anguish and torment" and "humiliation and embarrassment," seeking compensatory and punitive damages against alleged tortfeasors Eric West, Diane Scherff, Dr. Michel S. Pawlowski, D.Sci., Elizabeth Granite, RPOF and RPOF Chair Blaise Ingolia.

Racist, sexist, homophobic transphobic KORACH has alleged he was disgraced and humiliated by the allegations against him, and is seeking unspecified damages.

On July 31, 2018, KORACH voluntarily dismissed his first lawsuit against RPOF. In June, Judge Traynor denied an equitable remedy, a preliminary injunction to KORACH, because he had already been removed from office.

Pray for WILLIAM KORACH and fellow Republicans to recover and repent of their bigotry, racism, sexism, misogyny, homophobia and transphobia.

KORACH was fired by RPOF for nine reasons, including expressing unauthorized opposition to a transgendered student using a bathroom, bitterly backing the School Board's losing defense of a lawsuit that would never have been filed if the School Board did not have a bigot majority.

None sign of the REC members who filed detailed successful complaints with the Republican Party of Florida against KORACH attended the funeral.

KORACH suffered a heart attack after his firing.

He died the day after Republicans lost the House of Representatives.

KORACH's first lawsuit seeking reinstatement failed, the Circuit Court holding there was no basis for a temporary restraining order to undo an action already completed.

KORACH filed a second lawsuit for defamation against RPOF and the three complainants.

No word on whether KORACH's defamation lawsuit against the three complainants and RPOF will continue -- while Florida law allows survival of civil actions after the plaintiff dies, it is unknown whether KORACH's estate or its personal representative considers the lawsuit a potential asset or a liability.

So another hateful racist, sexist, misogynist, homophobic, transphobic bigot has died.

Pray for WILLIAM KORACH's soul.

Pray for all bigots without regard to party or epidermal pigmentation.

Every single one.
