Dear Judge Traynor:1. Thank you, your Honor, for accepting the appointment to be Special Magistrate in the "Agrihood" case in St. Johns County.2. I testified against this project before our County Commission. However, our County Attorney oddly never gave me notice of the mediation. Why? I was under the impression that this was the standard procedure, based on invitations mailed by the City of St. Augustine to witnesses in at least two other 70.51 proceedings, including one that was held before Special Magistrate Terrence Edward Schmidt (affirming designation of "Wisteria House" across from St. Augustine City Hall, as a Local Landmark).3. Would your Honor please be so kind as to direct that all witnesses before the PZA and County Commission in this action be given written actual notice of all Special Magistrate orders, filings, notices and proceedings? Perhaps a dedicated website would be helpful.4. Please order that 70.51 Special Magistrate hearings and prehearing conferences on the Agrihood be held in our County Auditorium and be broadcast live on SJC Government TV.Thank you. With kindest regards, I am,Sincerely yours,Ed SlavinBox 3084St. Augustine, Florida 32085-3084(904) 377-4998
