Museum Converting to Hotel? Millionaire DAVID BARTON CORNEAL Demands PUD for DOW MUSEUM OF HISTORIC HOMES
DAVID BARTON CORNEAL wants to turn the former Dow Museum of Historic Homes into a hotel. He needs a Planned Unit Development (PUD) to get his way. It should be rejected. I agree that the Planned Unit Development must be rejected, and there must be a moratorium on all future PUDs in St. Augustine. He can "demand" all he wants. If the PUD contains adequate parking, then it could fly.
If there is no parking for Corneal's enterprise, then it won't pass muster no matter how much he jumps up and down.
IF he didn't, he and his architect (who is that?) should have gone to CoSA Planning & Building to find out the requirements of multiple B&Ss instead of assuming "it'll all work out."

CORNEAL is from State College, PA (Centre County), a corrupt place where the Penn State child rapes took place under PSU coach JOE PATERNO.
