Whether saying Lehman Brothers should have had more lobbyists to avoid bankruptcy, head-butting an ABC News reporter for asking about his attending a lobbyist party with TOM DELAY, or his record of eight-terms of ring wing kookery, nincompoopery and dupery, CONGRESSMAN JOHN L. MICA is a national embarassment.
When he called for ending investigations of Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo, MICA embarassed us.
When he called President Clinton a "little booger," MICA embarassed us.
When he voted against the Fmily Medical Leave Act, claiming it would cost jobs (the leave is unpaid), MICA embarrased us.
When he voted 0% of the time for veterans three years in a row, MICA embarassed us.
When he voted to abolish the Congrssional Office of Technology Assessment so Big Oil and nuclear powerplants would be free of unbiased technical advice, MICA embarassed us.
When he bragged that lobbyists were the best people he knew, MICA embarassed us.
Search this blog -- see if you can count the number of times JOHN L. MICA has embarassed the people of Florida -- then send this energumen packing. Time for him to become a lobbyist/PRmesiter, like his two brothers and like his two children.
