Three "Conservative" Candidates Elected By Campaigns "Run" by "MOMENTUM STRATEGY GROUP"

St. Johns County School Board member BEVERLY SLOUGH bitterly opposed efforts to assure compliance with the Fifteenth Amendment, supporting a legislative redistricting plan for School Board and County Commission districts that would have reduced minority voting strength in District 2. (We stopped them, working with civil rights groups and the County Commission).  SLOUGH, wife of a right-wing minister, ran for Congress in the 2014 Republican primary with the support of our county's immature political boss, rebarbative Republican Sheriff DAVID BERNARD SHOAR, f/k/a "HOAR."

St. Johns County Commissioner and former Chair JOHN H. "JAY" MORRIS recently told Sheriff SHOAR that he, MORRIS, ran for office after meeting with SHOAR. It was at a County Commission meeting, and available on archived video.  MORRIS is most noted for incessantly touting his "business experience," as an executive at RPM INTERNATIONAL, an international seller of paints, coatings and roofing materials (which settled for more than $60 million qui tam False Claims Act case involving its overcharging federal, state and local governments, including overpriced, defective failing roofs at five locations in Florida, including the roof on the University of Florida Shands Hospital in Gainesville. Read all about it here.

St. Augustine City Commissioner TODD NEVILLE, who speaks to Sheriff SHOAR at least once each week, spent $16.96 a vote, a record for our small town, treasures developers, disdains historic preservation, and was the campaign treasurer for construction contractor Mike Davis' fruitless state representative campaign and for all of the four winning state legislative campaigns of WILLIAM PROCTOR, Flagler College Chancellor, who said the only reason he ran for the job was to keep a Democrat from being elected. NEVILLE is the accountant for Flagler Hospital, Flagler College, local medical practices and other corporations, and the scion of TIMOTHY NEVILLE, an anti-labor lawyer and former industrial plant manager, who played tennis with former White House Chief of Staff and Senate Majority Leader HOWARD HENRY BAKER, Jr.

What do SLOUGH, MORRIS and NEVILLE have in common? Two things for starters:
All three are cronies of corrupt Sheriff DAVID BERNARD SHOAR f/k/a "HOAR," whose coverup of the Michelle O'Connell shooting is an international scandal.
All three had their campaigns "run" by the "MOMENTUM STRATEGY GROUP," which says it works for "conservative" candidates and whose slogan is:
"WHATEVER IT TAKES. WE MAKE IT HAPPEN."
