SHERIFF SHOAR VIDEO PROPAGANDA AT 450TH CELEBRATION MUSICAL EVENT

Still waiting for response to my week-old Open Records requests on Sheriff DAVID SHOAR's role in 450th commemoration entertainment, including SHOAR's self-serving video (shown both nights before the final musical acts). IRS rules may have been violated, as the video was for the personal benefit of a controversial politician.

Good afternoon, everyone:

1. Please respond fully, with documents to my September 3, 2015 request.  

2. Who requested and who decided to run Sheriff DAVID SHOAR's self-promoting Four Star Assn video immediately before the final musical act on both nights of our 450th entertainment -- Aaron Neville (Friday, September 4) and Emmy Lou Harris (Saturday, September 5)?  Please provide all documents.

3. This needlessly politicized the 450th and may have violated IRS inurement/personal benefit rules on non-profit groups.  This requires investigation and audit.
4. SHOAR is controversial as a result of his maladroit handling of the Michelle O'Connell shooting on September 2, 2010.  "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good [people] to do nothing."  See now-Mayor Nancy Shaver's December 2013 letter: http://cleanupcityofstaugustine.blogspot.com/2015/07/nancy-shavers-eloquent-december-18-2013.html     The world is watching us. See, e.g.:

5. Sheriff SHOAR has not yet filed for re-election, and he  has given conflicting accounts of his intentions.

6. Running a video of Sheriff SHOAR on a giant 20x40 foot Jumbotron television screen before tens of thousands of fans right before two popular entertainers two nights in a row as part of our 450th commemoration events is an embarrassment to our City and our County.  Please release all related documents. Now. 

7. Please include all documents on the $10,000 invoice to the Sheriff's Department, payment(s) received, the etiology of the invoice and payments, the placement and making of this video, including scripts, e-mails and successive "takes" or version of the video, and a list of all persons accompanying Sheriff SHOAR to the VIP tent, along with all photos of SHOAR and others with him.  Please do so hesto presto, without further evasions.  Please govern yourselves accordingly.
