In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Be involved. Expect democracy. Report and expose corruption. Smile! Help enact a St. Augustine National Park and Seashore. We shall overcome!

Five UF Professors' Unctuous Ukase Supports DOW PUD Proposal
City Manager JOHN PATRICK REGAN, P.E. will do anything to win approval of the DOW PUD. Why? REGAN has distributed to Commissioners a bogus "Opinion Paper" by UF, or
four professors and one emeritus professor, led by a professor of Applied Physiology and Kinesiology.
These "expert" opinions would be inadmissible under the Daubert standard -- how gauche and louche that they attempt to contaminate our City Commissioners' discussion of the DOW PUD two weeks before our 450th.
The five academics never spoke to anyone who did not support the project.
They issued a ukase, "Identifiable Benefits of the Proposed Cordova Inn, A University of Florida Opinion Paper" dated August 19, 2015 and distributed by City Commissioners by City Manager JOHN PATRICK REGAN, P.E.
The "Opinion Paper" is unscholarly lobbying on behalf of the project.
How gauche and louche.
This is our City Manager's Last Hurrah -- his corrupt last-ditch tactic on behalf of the developer attempting to inflict nightly rentals on our Old City South neighborhood (HP-1 zoning), which former Vice Mayor DONALD CRICHLOW, now a DOW PUD supporter opposed in 2010.
