Coastal Erosion Is Real: One Photo Worth 1000 Words (SAR)
Yes, ME-publicans, our coastline is eroding.
Zack Slaughterbeck, of St. Augustine, does a front flip off of the newly formed ledge on St. Augustine Beach on Wednesday afternoon, April 20, 2016. "We take advantage of what nature brings us," said Slaughterbeck, a tracer, or practitioner of parkour.
A newly formed ledge was created on St. Augustine Beach by a recent nor’easter, which eroded several feet of beach renourishment sand along the coastline over a period of days.
