National Response Center Report No. 1175327, Open Records Request 2017-177

On April 10, 2017, I reported to the National Response Center of the United States Coast Guard the possibly preventable level of flooding and sewage spills that took place in St. Augustine after Hurricane   Coast Guard manager K. Weatherly in Washington, D.C. took my report.

Upon reading the April 9, 2017 Jacksonville Times-Union editorial re: Mayor Shaver and adaptation to global ocean level rise re: sea urchins in Davis Shores storm sewers, I'm curious:  when were sea urchins first reported by public works crews in our storm sewers and where? Is there a log?  What was done and documented in response to this evidence of salt water intrusion?  

Was the City of St. Augustine's response compliant with the standard of care?  

Were engineers consulted?

Have any homeowners sued for negligence?

Please send documents or make file available in your offices on April 10, 2017.
