Republican Hatchetman MICHAEL GOLD Attacks Andrew Young Crossing Monument, Disgraces Our Community

Over on the Historic City News hate website, MICHAEL GOLD f/k/a "MICHAEL TOBIN" has attacked the Andrew Young Crossing Memorial, being dedicated tomorrow, on the putative basis that Andrew Young wasn't from around here and he was an outside agitator (click link above). How gauche.
As Dr. King wrote in his Letter from A Birmingham Jail: "I am cognizant of the interrelatedness of all communities and states. I cannot sit idly by in Atlanta and not be concerned about what happens in Birmingham. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. Never again can we afford to live with the narrow, provincial 'outside agitator' idea. Anyone who lives inside the United States can never be considered an outsider anywhere within its bounds."

Over on the St. Augustine Record website, someone posted racist comments about Rev. Young's memorial event. I wrote the Publisher, Ron Davidson, and they have been removed.
Thank you. This day is about healing, and we don't need energumen bullies like MICHAEL GOLD trying to ruin it for our Nation's Oldest City.
