City managers' latest pollution blunder blamed on raccoon: 60,750 gallon raw sewage spill

Either the electronic warning devices for the City's sewage pumping station failed, or City employees ignored the warning signals.

Why don't we know the answer yet? City Manager JOHN PATRICK REGAN, P.E. and City Hall have a bad record of avoiding, evading and ducking questions.

City handouts about a raccoon have been regurgitated by the other-directed MORRIS COMMUNICATIONS (The St. Augustine Record) and GANNETT GROUP (the First Coast News duopoly of NBC and ABC affiliates, permitted by FCC since 2005). The handout-regurgitating Establishment Media is responsible for theft of our democracy -- the latest of an epidemic of environmental crimes in St. Augustine is immediately publicized, dismissed as the fault of a raccoon and not reported adequately. Pitiful.
