TWICE, in 2013 and 2014, WFOY OWNER KRIS PHILLIPS' CORPORATE CHARTER EXPIRED -- YES, TWICE!

KRIS PHILLIPS is running for mayor as an experienced business owner.

In 2013, WFOY radio station owner KRIS PHILLIPS, missed the deadline to renew her PHILLIPS BROADCASTING LLC corporate charter by a country mile.  As a result, she had to file some six months later to renew her corporate charter, on November 7, 2013, paying a $400 penalty.

In 2014, PHILLIPS again failed to file for renewal of her corporate charter, which expired in April.  PHILLIPS had to pay another $400 penalty.  Plus,  PHILLPS' corporation ceased to exist as a legal entity for more than a year.

In 2015, PHILLIPS again filed for reinstatement of her corporate charter.

In 2016, PHILLIPS timely renewed her corporate charter.

It costs $138.75 and filing of a simple one page electronic form to renew a corporate charter with the Florida Secretary of State.

Operating without a corporate charter has potential legal consequences in the event of litigation or sale or purchase of real estate.

Operating without a corporate charter -- bare -- for six months and then for twelve months raises questions.

Why did KRIS PHILLIPS allow her corporate charter to expire, twice?

Is she inattentive to details?

Ethically challenged?

Lacking in coping skills?

Lacking in management skills?

Impecunious?

She had to pay some $800 in penalties to the Florida Secretary of State in 2013 and 2014.

Yes, KRIS PHILLIPS is running for mayor as an experienced business owner.

Experienced at what, precisely?

What's next?: Questions about her treatment of a longtime employee, Al Brennan.

Waiting for KRIS PHILLIPS to respond.
