FDEP INVESTIGATING SAB MAYOR RI¢HARD BURTT O'BRIEN'S DUNE AND VEGETATION DESTRUCTION AFTER HURRICANE MATTHEW

Let justice be done. No state or federal government money should be spent to repair the dune and vegetation that St. Augustine Beach Mayor O'BRIEN, his wife and their corporations illegally destroyed after Hurricane Matthew. Let them pay for the full cost of the response and remediation of their environmental crimes.

Subject: EO Relief Stormwater Effects Hurricane Matthew FDEP OGC No. 16-1327

Dear Commissioner O'Brien:
1. What steps have you and your corporations -- including LAFIESTA INN & SUITES, GRACIE HOLDING LLC and
BEACH DEVELOPMENT LLC. -- taken to date in compliance with the October 8, 2016 FDEP Order OGC 16-1327, including restoring the vegetation and dune that your employees destroyed?
https://www.dep.state.fl.us/mainpage/em/2016/matthew/files/SignedEFO_16-1327.pdf

2. Please don't ask the federal, state or county governments to pay for your own overt acts -- deliberate, willful, reckless, heedless dune and vegetation damage.
3. If you do seek reimbursement, please be assured that I shall file complaints with the respective Inspectors General.
4. Will you and your conflicted developer law firm (ST. JOHNS LAW GROUP, conflicted former law firm for the City of St. Augustine Beach) kindly cease and desist from your election year campaign of state court "stalking injunction" retaliation against environmental whistleblower Thomas F. Reynolds, Jr. in retaliation for his reporting your unpermitted ocean dumping and dune destruction to local and federal authorities?
5. FEMA, Army Corps of Engineers and FDEP Inspectors General have jurisdiction over that meretricious effort to chill, coerce and restrain First Amendment protected activity, and might begin civil, criminal and administrative investigations sua sponte.
Thank you.
With kindest regards, I am,
Sincerely yours,
Ed Slavin
